TOMATO BASIL BRUSCHETTA
It can be quite a task to make something when you are feeling lethargic and keep having to think up healthy brunch ideas. However, we’ve got your back with this light and appetizing snack and a healthy breakfast. And its versatility is such that if paired with a soup or salad, you can enjoy a light dinner or lunch!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Italian bread
 - Finely chopped tomatoes (5-6)
 - Chopped basil leaves (1/3 rd cup)
 - Minced Garlic (2 cloves)
 - Balsamic Vinegar (1 tablespoon)
 - Olive Oil (1 teaspoon)
 - Pepper powder (1/2 teaspoon)
 - Salt as per taste
 - Nutralite Classic
 - Take a big bowl and add tomatoes, basil leaves and garlic.
 - Add Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil and pepper powder in the mentioned quantities. Now add some salt as per taste.
 - Mix this well, and leave it aside for an hour or so. Do this only if you have the time so that the flavours to blend well.
 - Slice the Italian bread diagonally into ½ inch thick slices.
 - Apply some Nutralite on the bread slices. You can toast or bake the loafs till they are crispy and golden brown.
 - Spread the tomato mix generously over the toasted bread slices and serve immediately.
