BROCCOLI PARATHA
Traditional Indian vegetarian recipes for parathas can get rather tiresome after a while. But fret not! We’ve got Broccoli parathas that blend the protein of Broccoli with some interesting flavours and make for a healthy breakfast. It’s time to give your mornings a whole new twist.

- Whole wheat flour (1.5 cups)
- All-purpose flour (1 tablespoon)
- Broccoli (Half)
- Onion (Half)
- Garlic (1 clove)
- Green chillies (2)
- Garam masala and Turmeric powder
- Carom seeds (Ajwain): ½ tsp
- Salt as per taste

- INSTRUCTIONS

- It's quite simple. Wash the broccoli thoroughly and cut it into neat florets.
- Put some water to boil along with 10 florets and some salt as per taste.
- After about two minutes, grind the florets into a paste. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and garam masala with garlic and green chillies.
- Take a mixing bowl. Add whole wheat and all-purpose flour to it along with the paste, onions, carom seeds and salt as per taste.
- Knead it with the necessary amount of water.
- Once you have prepared the dough, leave it for a while.
- Prepare small balls from the dough. Flatten it with a belan.
- Heat a griddle and place the paratha on it. Spread some Nutralite on the paratha. Cook till both sides turn golden or brown.
- Follow the same procedure with others as well.
- Serve the paratha with some pickle or curd.
