Ingredients
- Potatoes (halfed) - 12 pieces
 - Yogurt - 10 tbsp
 - Red chilli powder - 3 to 4 tbsp*
 - Turmeric Powder - 1 to 2 tbsp**
 - Onions (chopped) -3
 - Green chili(slit) - 1
 - Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
 - Garam Masala Powder - as needed
 - Salt to taste
 - Sugar to taste

 - Ghee - 1tbsp
 - Cashew Nuts - 8 to 10
 - Ginger - 1tbsp
 - Garlic - 1tbsp
 - water
 - Bay Leaf - 1
 - Fennel Seeds - 1 tbsp
 - Cumin Seeds- 1tbsp
 
Directions
- Boil the peeled and halved potatoes in salted water.
 - Make a paste with onions, ginger, garlic, cashew nuts, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and two tbsp. of water in a grinder
 - Mix the paste with Yogurt and blend well.
 - Then add red chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder in the yogurt -mixture and blend well for 2 minutes. Keep this paste aside.
 - Then heat oil in a kadai and fry the potatoes.
 - Once frying is done keep the fried potatoes aside.
 - Again heat oil and add bay leaf, and garam masala powder for aromatic smell.
 - Then add the yogurt mixture and cook well for 1 to 2 minutes. Add sugar ,salt and green chili in this step. You can also add water to increase the volume of gravy.
 - Then add the potatoes and ghee and cook for 2 minutes.
 
Shortcut
*Red chili powder depends on taste. **More turmeric powder could be added if the proper yellow color not comes. Fresh cream and coriander leaves could be used to garnish..
